My best friend went to visit her family for a couple weeks one summer, but then she ended up staying the whole summer, and I never got to talk to her cause she didn't have internet access or a cell, and she was only able to call me a couple times for aobut 5 mins.
And a couple years ago, she had to leave cause her uncle was in a really bad accident, and her mom wanted to visit with all their family, so she was gone again, but this time only a month or two, BUT I missed her birthday, which was really hard.

yeah,I know what it's like to have friends you can't see for a long time (or short, but it always seems long...) My best friend lives in IA, I get to see her at least once every other month, but that's it, we never call eachother(always to busy) and she never checks her email, so...
